WHAT IS THIS?

A company that creates original gaming experiences for multiple teams to compete or cooperate in reaching a common goal. Live interactive characters may help or hinder them on their way.

WHAT IS IT LIKE?

“A REAL Monkey Island” apparently! For those who don’t know this classic adventure game, think The Crystal Maze, Punchdrunk immersive theatre, The Cube, Saw series, Prison Break, Fort Boyard, The Mole, The Amazing Race, The Great Escape, and Knightmare.
It brings together the joy of escape rooms, scavenger hunts, LARPing, murder mystery and interactive theatre games.

WHAT IS IMMERSIVE THEATRE?

Like actual theatre, but the stage is all around you. You become a part of the set and story, meaning you have the opportunity to interact up close with the characters and props. Whether you wish to be a casual bystander, or the hero of the show, is totally up to you! Our games allow for introverts, extroverts and everyone in between.

WILL MY GUESTS BE UP FOR THIS?

As long as they enjoy fun, yes. We explain the story and their goal so they can get stuck in, whether they are a seasoned contenders or totally new adventurers. We can brief them before and during your event.

WHAT WILL MY GUESTS BE DOING?

Guests will be teaming up and roaming your venue for clues to help them be the first to achieve their goal. Clues and characters can be placed anywhere across the venue, so you can create areas for them to play and travel between.

WHO IS IT FOR?

A complete mixture of personality, ages and nationalities play live immersive games. Teams can be made up of friends, family, dates, work mates, student peers, travellers and many others. It is a great team building exercise and ideal for getting people together for something different.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Games can take from 45 minutes to an hour depending on how challenging we make it. A typical game will be 1 hour to set up, 1 hour to play and 15 minutes to reset. Our games can also be set up for visitors to dip into as they fancy, as a live challenge with a running scoreboards for your guests to compete on.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY?

Our games are customisable to entertain any amount of guests. We aim to play with around 6 players per actor. A game with four hosts can cater for around 25 players per hour. Players may be put into small teams of 2 - 4.
For 50 people we’d recommend 2 games of 3 - 4 hosts, or one longer game with more actors. Games are modular to work for whatever suits the occasion.

We also provide mini games for parties that require a lighter ‘drop in and play’ offering.

HOW DO 25 PEOPLE PLAY SIMULTANEOUSLY?

Guests are divided into teams and then compete. The first team to complete the task within the hour, wins!

HOW ARE THE TEAMS ORGANISED?

Generally smaller teams of 2 - 4 are good. These can be organised beforehand, or encouraged at the event. We can also provide a quick pre-game randomiser that puts people in teams for them.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Most immersive experiences like Punchdrunk or Secret Cinema are around £60 - £85 per person. At the moment, our pricing is a lot less and based on the amount of guests we’ll be entertaining, the location, prizes, and game customisation. Prices generally start at around £25 per person for their hour of immersive gameplay. The price goes down for more games/players. Contact us for detailed price list.

HOW DO I PAY?

Upon contacting us and agreeing your ideal game at your chosen venue, we take 50% of the cost to secure your date. The other 50% must be secured 30 days before the game event.

WHERE IS IT?

We can bring our games anywhere. We’ll set up within an hour and get to work on making an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.
We may have current games running at venues if you wish to sample it before you hire. Get in touch to find out.

WILL IT FIT AT MY CHOSEN VENUE?

Most likely, yes. A game for 25 people will ideally be in a space that fits 60+ people, allowing for characters and props.
Our games require spaces of approximately 2 metres squared per game character. A game typically features around 4 characters who can place themselves ANYWHERE around the venue. Characters can set up their props and puzzles in a standing or seated area at a table and able to act out their part indoors or outdoors. Players can travel between them.
We have posters and music available, plus the option to involve ‘rogue characters’, these are folk who are already at the venue, a bar person, waiter or special guest for example.
Ideally the venue allows the game hosts to speak with players without too much disturbance from nearby music or non playing punters.

HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?

We are based in Brighton and able to travel anywhere within the UK. For a late event more than 50 miles from Brighton, we may need accommodation for the night. Travel costs are set in bands based on how far from Brighton.

WHAT THEME IS IT?

The games sit best within an ‘other worldly’ theme, generally set in a fictional past. However, clues, costume and scripting may be customised to suit any occasion. Our stories challenge the norm with escapism akin to Alice in Wonderland, Labyrinth, The Wizard of Oz, Studio Ghibli, Never Ending Story and Pan’s Labyrinth.

WHAT DO THE WINNERS GET?

Winners get a massive buzz of accomplishment. We can also provide unique escape room game experiences or we can work together to make it a prize of your choosing.

WILL I GET SCARED AND AM I SAFE?

Yes you are completely safe. There are mild scrapes of pulse racing anticipation, but this is done in a light-hearted and mischievous way. Our hosts are trained to provide maximum gaming pleasure, inclusivity and safety.

HOW HARD IS THE GAME?

Whilst none of our games are easy to win, you do not need any special ‘skills’ to advance through the game, the games generally involve thinking outside the box. Common sense goes a lot further than intelligence, and those with strong teamwork and bags of enthusiasm are often the most likely to succeed. We may also throw in the odd clue if you look as like you are about to wet your pants.

ACCESSIBILITY AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS?

We will gladly help anyone who needs it. Some clues require the ability to hear and see, but our immersive actors will make sure all enjoy the game.

We’re keen to work with sign language, translators, and any causes that help more people enjoy gaming experiences.

WILL NON ENGLISH SPEAKING PEOPLE BE ABLE TO PLAY?

Our games are enjoyed by many nationalities with a basic understanding of English. Our hosts are on hand to help where needed.

WHAT AGES CAN PLAY?

We entertain all ages and will gladly entertain children accompanied by an adult. However we do ask that you don’t leave your children with our immersive actor hosts, they may learn something you do not wish them to!

We do offer children’s parties for the younger hunters!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wear whatever you want. However, if you wear a suit made of tacos, we will eat it. You have been warned.

ARE YOU COVID PROTECTED?

Yes. Our games are specially prepped, cleaned, and masked with scientifically appropriate measures to keep you and our actors safe at all times.

CAN YOU MAKE ME A GAME?

Absolutely. We work with brands, venues, festivals and parties to create specially made games. We make exciting new stories which engage through immersive gameplay. Feel free to get in touch to find out more.
